We are planning an exclusive pop-up dinner featuring Hannibal-inspired tasting plates.
Brain Ravioli in Beurre Brun, Blood Sausage Cassoulet, Crispy deep-fried Sheep Intestines on Panisse, Humano (Veal) Tonato, Chocolate-Blood Tarte are just a few of the menu items we're considering.

Chef Max Kantor will helm the venerable Cookbook Store's studio kitchen for the evening. National Post calls him "one of the hottest chefs in town"...a recent doc on his "Secret Pickle Supper Club" describes his social-media dinners as "must-attend events"

More details to come!

  1. Really, really jealous that I live in California.

    1. Maybe it could happen in LA! We just got renewed for a second season so I've got a year to work on it!

  2. Unfortunately I waited exactly too long to grab tickets, and now they're all sold out, according to the site. I hope everyone who ended up with tickets has a wonderful time and posts lots of photos!

    1. We are going to discuss doing a second date because of the big response. All depends on the chef's availability. We will have a photographer, so I'll be able to post photos.

    1. I love DC - I hope to go next year when the cherry blossoms are out. Maybe I'll be able to convince Jose Andres to do a Hannibal dinner. Washington is where his head office is located.

  4. I flipped out when I saw this, and I'm so sad that I missed my chance. PLEASE have another one in Toronto! I'm an artist and culinary student at Niagara-on-the-lake and I'm working on a culinary/ Hannibal art project based on the food in the show and your work Ms.Poon. Hopefully you have another one and I definitely hope to be there! I love your work!
